Parents can call into the school 24 hours a day to report an anticipated absence of their child. When an unauthorised absence occurs, parents will be instantly notified either by SMS text message, voice mail, email or all 3 methods. This method has been successfully used and is proven to improve attendance. It discourages pupils from truanting because they know they will be caught first time. It also improves student safety.
